4 days away.


Man..the craziness has not stopped. My sleeping patterns are all off. Not getting to bed till 3-4am each nite and phone calls all day affecting work schedule too. Fortunately tried to take some time off to catch my breath this weekend. Went for errands at Home depot, Rico's kickback, Dim Sum with friends on sunday as well as the alcohol run for pmx. Got mad at myself while reading martin's blog realizing i missed the Cuarto baby shower. Uggg.. man..and my memory is so shot i had to really think about what i did this weekend and it was just 48 hours ago.

Now that most of the big stuff for pmx is done, i've been able to concentrate more and get things done at work. *shakes head* had to take a pmx phone call even while i was ordering lunch at Subway today. FRICK.. 4 more days. Anyways, sealed DJ Virman for PMX on sunday. Need to contact donny and the other dj to schedule your times. (Donny you'll get your call soon..if not hit me up).

Last minute stuff... cleaning stuff around the house...clearing things out...and just making it thru the day. Man...thank goodness i'm taking tues off as well.

PMX countdown - 9 days

man...my hotmail now has fricken 8 pages. Still way below the 250MB limit..but frickn 8 pages of messages. After labor day weekend i can clean it out.

Back to normal?

2 weeks away and i can stop talking about PMX....well..for a while. Happy things are coming together...stressed about much that is being put on me (that wasn't part of my job description) but finding pleasure in the simple joy that my friends are excited. Random Ninjas is gonna kick ass with their secret finale. Donny's sent me some stuff that i can hopefully get up on the website in time. Garland and I are just having fun with the CLUB PMX idea. All in all...i know for sure that its gonna be a kick ass time.

With much of my schedule being completed, I can at least take a step back and breathe a bit. Things in the personal life are a bit strained....odd cuz technically its already actually over. Unfortunately feelings aren't controlled like a light switch. I thank everyone that is concerned about me. I know where i am...I know where i want to be....and I am responsible for my own decisions (good or bad). Thanks all for caring.

As far as things worthy of blogging.... Sanjay's housewarming party was fun. Jello shots, brownies and CPK with the coworkers. Made for an interesting nite and definately a highlight from a busy week. Celebrated Bren's bday on Sat. He tried to go for a hat trick on the 1liter sized Asahi cans. Got to 1.5 which is much better than my 2/3 of a can. We sat and watched morning musume videos and asian game shows the whole nite while eating Max's chicken and other store bought food. Mango cake from Red Ribbon was the perfect end to the evening. hmm...with that hint of coconut.....yum. Still got a piece left. Today is my Dad's bday. Happy bday Dad. We already celebrated it last week so that we could have dinner with the whole family (will was still in town).

Today was also the last PMX planning meeting (damn..still brought it up). The meeting itself was eh..but it was fun hanging with everyone afterwards. We went to Marukai to have sushi. Once we got there...found out Garland just bought a solo membership to Marukai and asked if he can add me as a second. So yeah! i now have membership to the store. Right then and there i put it to good use. Found a Yakata for 7 bucks and picked it up. Convinced Garland to get one as well and that started it all. Next thing i know we are all buying them. It was a lot of fun. Walked around the store and found the Ramune 1 liter bottle on sale for $2. It was great. I'm having a lot of fun with my roomie... missed that household comradere like i had in college. Course sam probably likes him as well since he can do the MM train dance. =p

Much like the groundhog, i'm checking to see if the coast is clear. The work never seeems to end. Its been an eventful few weeks. Much i wanted to talk about...but couldn't find the time to post about. Thing are a lil bit more quiet now, but unlikely to get back to schedule till after PMX Labor Day weekend.

Did want to let you all know that i'm still alive =).

Short synopsis

1. Dj D.nutt will be performing at PMX
2. Locked down most of my bands. Got some really good people coming.
3. Pretty much got the schedule down and got everyone happy
4. Getting last minute changes to my rooms and agreements that are pissing me off.
5. Taking on other people's responsibilities and a general lack of action/responsibility.
6. Things got pretty busy at work.
7. I'm getting fat. Need to hit that gym
8. Second set of windows are now ordered. Likely to come in right before PMX.
9. Got invited back to staff AX....wasn't sure how to really take that one.
10. Furneral for one of my childhood mentors
11. Early morning co-sponsoring my family members in the Philippines
12. Body tried to get me to slow down this weekend..giving me a stiff neck/shoulder. Too bad i couldn't stop.
13. Got down and dirty under the house again trying to do home improvement.
14. Need to focus on lawn and window covers.

After coming back from that weekend...quite a lot has happened..but i haven't had time to write about it.
I may come back and post -date some entries for consistancy sake...but yeah...its still non-stop.

First off, Happy Birthday Rico!

Been busy since this morning...got the windows signed off for. The guy was pretty interesting and really cool. Karen and I helped load my aunt's rental truck for Vegas. Played a lot of catch up at work.

Anyways..whirl wind weekend..so not sure if i'll get a chance to post...but here is what it looks like.

Tonite - Rico Bday in Fullerton.
Late tonite/early morning - Drive to Vegas
Sat - Rozelle bday in vegas
Late sat/early sun - Party with cousins, drive back to LA
Sun - PMX meeting at noon.

Wow..surprisingly this week has been relatively calm. Granted i'm still doing a lot of work here and there...i've actually had time to just relax.

Waiting for some people to email me back about pmx stuff...but things are looking good. Hip hop class was dizzy-ing...with a bunch of turns and such. The rest of the nite was walking (should have been running) thru downtown LA looking for a bar to celebrate Charles' bday. It was nice just kicking back with everyone and not having to worry about much.

Well..i really should do some work.

Can't seem to sleep any earlier than 4am lately. PMX is keeping me really really busy with phone calls and emails.

Today was nice though. Beautiful day (of what i got to see of it). Mark came over to hang out (and attempt to work on his computer). Unfortunately didn't get to solve the issue, but did get to have maopo tofu again. Yummmm. After just relaxing for once (while pmx issues danced in my head)...we went out to tea station for boba and brick toast. Garland and Chris came out and we just sat there chatting thru the nite.

When i got back..had to face the pmx items again. Yup...4am.

So today being monday got back into business. Set up a new user in the office as well as tried to tie up some PMX issues. Trying to make plans for the weekend. Rico's Bday is Friday, Rozelle's on Sat, and Will's on Mon. Not sure about Rico or Will, but Rozelle is thinking vegas for the weekend (not a bad idea..althought its still hella hot).

As far as the quote, I headed over to my cousin's house after work just to chill. Alfred has always been into old cartoons and had just bought the old He-Man tv series on dvd. It was classic watching the episodes. Man, those were the days when the cartoons entire 30 minutes revolved around the moral of the episode. Really makes you wonder and realize how different it is to grow up now compared to when I was growing up.

In the nature versus nurture debate, as much as your genes and biology give you certain obvious advantages...i still feel that nurture plays a bigger role in people's development. You learn and grow from the things around you....Reactions to the actions in your life. Your life is based on your decisions. ...so ...yeah. =p.
