House shopping today was interesting...to say it lightly. I'm glad I did it to get a better idea of the homes..a lot different from reading a data sheets all the time. I didn't realize how big 1000 square feet it, but even then, I'm looking for this as an investment value more than anything else. Man..where does the time go. I promise (which means it will come true..just remind me or wait) a true ray "story" on how it went. Right now though, I'm gonna try to make a basketball game with some friends at 8am tomorrow. Catching up with a friend from HS that i haven't seen in forever...but it will be balling filipino style just like the old days with my kuyas. I know my game hasn't changed any, but i know in time i'll get better.

Going house shopping tomorrow...so need to sleep now. Had a good time with coworkers (wishing someone off to school) and dinner with Bren. Thai food is really yummy after a shot of goldshlaugher. Update tomorrow...probably.

I love that i can "cheat" with the days..to make the daily post. yesterday was the hockey game Kings versus Avalanche. Actually quite a stressful day...which is why i didn't really post. Either way..the end of the week is near..and i'll likely post again tonite.

I don't think i've left japan yet...i'm stuck watching the Live action Sailor moon. I've started drafting the Japan trip blog, but i'll post it later. Almost done catching up on things at work...and also gotta get started on AX stuff.

I woke up early this morning, from a bad dream and couldn't get back to sleep. What happened in that dream continued to bother me throughout the day, but there really wasn't much i could do about it. What it did do was make me think about things and my current place in life. I didn't understand why we can't just be happy with what we have and appreciate the love we are given. Maybe its a matter of not recognizing the love that is around us. Maybe its being to busy in what we think is love, and just not seeing that we've already acheived it. I thank my sister for always being there and providing a sounding board to my thoughts. I may not be able to change the world, but i can definately change the way i do things.

Back at work..and it was fine. It was nice getting all the greetings from my friends. Guess i was missed ^_^. Played most of today playing catch-up and talking about the trip...so much so i didn't get to write it down here as well. Prob tomorrow ^_-. Think i'll skip working out tonite to take care of stuff here in the room...but yeah...sounds like things are back to normal.

Looking at a busy week with a meeting early wed, luncheon on thur, and hockey game thur nite. By friday things should have settled. Also planning on contacting the realtor this week...but really should start considering possible roommates. Wonder how that will factor in.

Tomorrow is work..and i'm pretty much ready for it. Its been a good 2 weeks away..and i haven't really worried too much about it. Gonna need to find a better way to wake up in the morning, cuz i think my body is just used to ignoring the alarm clock now.

Funny how actually going back to work is gonna put me back on schedule with stuff. I've been doing my home searching, so now gonna talk to the realtor more. I know i take a long time to make a decision on things...but its mainly cuz i think too much about it (read into relationship "issues" as well). Just today it took me like 45 minutes to decide if I wanted to buy a speaker box for my car. It was a standard hussle. Guy says its worth 120 (its a fricken box...please)...but he'll sell it at 80...then it went down to 60...then 50. I didn't want to have to deal with installing it....(an extra 15)...but walked out of there at $55 installed. It sounds a lot better in the car right now...but really had to decide if it was really worth it. In the end, it all worked out...but even the sales guy joked...saying it was like i was buying a house or something (yeah..had to call some peeps and get an opinion).

Look at it this way...i don't mess around. I learn about whatever i'm after...as much as i can. If i find something i like...i do what i can to get it. =)

Anyways...Japan post prob gonna be tomorrow or something. since I'll have to relive it for my coworkers...it will probably be fresh in my mind to write at that time.

Got to the gym today...so...things are going back to normal. Really starting to question things...guess that happens when you got a lot of time on your hands. I like to do this daily blog...cuz at least it gives me an exercise in writing. Much like this particular passage. The previous ones were..."shoot...gotta post my daily...no real thought behind it..but i made a committement..and i stick to it as best i can."

on the other hand..i wonder if it even reaches people. I guess i thought that by announcing its existance, people would be interested in reading. Why? who knows....I don't feel my life is all that interesting. What i think about on the other hand may be.

Maybe this was an excuse to lose myself. I had a nice chat with a friend today...and she asked...why don't i ever call. i told her I post...so she doesn't have to wonder what I've been up to. My excuse...its a lot easier for everyone to read this...than me telling everyone. really though...i'd have to wonder. I haven't emailed anyone personally for quiet sometime now. Calls are even fewer....again...makes you think.

anyways...looking forward to new projects and hopefully new challenges as well. Its a new year (calendar and asian)...january may almost be over...but the journey is still underway.

Back from vegas and it was definitely fun. Got to check out and score some cool stuff from the companies at CES. Also got to hang out and catch up with friends (neil, jackie, ht, jackie, greg, ron, fred). Spent a lot of time walking the Las Vegas Convention Center. Took down a warp core breach and some of neils creations...plus greg's mexican "jello" shots...all equaling a good time. Now got some things to take care of before leaving Wed....namely like packing =).

Man...frustrating day at work. Stuck on the phone doing support with someone in Saudi trying to get him internet access. Unfortunately i was on the phone for over an hour. I've learned that the best way for me to get things done is to make a list. Its makes you feel pretty good as you cross off all the different tasks from your list. Well, today i took care of mantha's plane ticket, scheduled a doctors and a grooming appointment for the dog, and am working on figuring out my digital camera dilemma again. Had dinner with Alfred and Brenda talking a bit about me possibly moving in the area.

Wow...Montebello/Monterey Park. There are a lot of memories from that area. Growing up with my cousins, playing baseball in the yard, walking to 7-11 for big gulps. Guess we'll have to see what the realtor comes up with.

Got to talk to my realtor today. Made the decision that I am looking for something in the Rosemead/Alhambra area or Burbank. She's already gotten back to me with some listings...soo cool. Its a major step...but I'm just hoping i find something nice.

Tomorrow is the day when all the teachers and students come back to the school and see the new network. Unfortunately there really wasn't a time to give them an orientation on it. So...i think i'll have to wake my butt up early and go to the school before classes start at 8am. Well...after tomorrow..things will be all good. Was able to wrap up a minor issue i had (although I gave myself quite a scare). Well see tomorrow.

Except for a couple wrap ups here and there, the Elementary school project has been completed. Whew. A Windows 2000 network server running exchange (email), IIS (webserver), file and print sharing with about 30 windows clients running w2k pro, office 2000, adult content blocking, winzip, blah, blah, blah....but yeah..lets just say a lot of work over the course of maybe 2 weeks if i add it up. I still have stacks of computers in my room i need to go thru, but i feel a genuine sense of satisfaction since i've completed this project. I made a promise saying it will be ready by the new year, and i made good on that promise.

So how do i reward myself? Finally watch Alien Resurrection and just chill at home ^_^. Never seen it before and just finishing off the series that I've been watching the whole time i've been working. Actually a pretty good box set.

I did make it to dim sum this morning...and it was yum yum good. Got to see dave, nea, pearl, and jeremy. Good company and good food made for a great time. It was in Monterey Park near where i grew up. That brought back a bunch of memories.

Well...now that the project is done, just time to relax a bit. Got other aspects of it i can tackle, but it won't be as demanding as this part. Think I'll get back to the gym as well.=)

most of the time when i just watch TV, i get bored...hence me wanting to find something to do. Today was different though. I think it has to do more with hanging out with people. I started my dad with the rain. ugg..hate the rain. Anyways...went to the school and got some work done. Pretty much half way thru, just still working thru that anti-virus installation. Hating it...really. Still working on it now...thank goodness i loaded some remote control software, so i'm not sitting at the school all day doing this. Thanks to the computer skills *ahem, ahem* was able to catch up with a classmate from back in elementary. It was nice catching up on things that have happen over the past...shit...10 years. Well, getting tired and hungry, I hit up Rico and chilled at his place and had some pizza. Hella funny since his power just went out due to the rain and stuff. It thing is, it really didn't matter. We just sat and talked, and caught up on stuff. Later when the power hit, and Arnold came over, we just kicked back and flipped between the Laker game, stand up comedy, and whatever else we could find on cable *wink*.
Anyways, hoping to catch up with nea and dave at dim sum tomorrow (that is if i get to wake up =/). After that, I plan on finishing off the school project. nite nite.

Today was spent mostly sleeping and working on that project. It was sooo coool. I got the email working for the school. Now i just need to make sure that still works after I add the anti-virus stuff. Felt really good and now i'll have tomorrow and the weekend to finish off some loose ends and such. Family is gonna be leaving tomorrow, so gonna be a quiet house again....but starting to look forward to Japan. Plus probably gonna head out to CES in Vegas as well with HT, Neil and the gang.
