Rain rain go away

2-3 days of downpour...and it sucks. Hydroplaning on the freeway a bit is not fun either. The rain is nice to clear the air and dirty streets....and only good when u've got someone to snuggle with in front of a fire. Unfortunately, she's too far away.

Anyways, as of today, the sun has started to peek thru.

I wanted to post a note here to let people know whats going on...nothing particularly thought provoking or interesting today. Humm..lets see. Karen and I are good...so thats great =). I'm gonna see her next weekend. More recently been celebrating mantha's bday....speedzone, chili's and last nite Prime Rib at Black Angus (yummmm..their cake is soo good). The Oakland guy for my company has taken the week and a half off to go training..so I'm left covering for him. Thats been keeping me busy....as well as other work projects. Fortunately been able to clean up stuff at work and home. Ohh ohh...i got the washer and dryer working. Sooo cool. There's a handyman in me after all.

The house fixing stuff is kicking back into gear again. Got an appointment this weekend for landscaping work. Sounds professional huh..well..actually..looking into artificial grass. Hey..its actually looks good and i checked it out at the LA Fair. Need to get working on the other parts of the house, but one major expense at a time...especially since christmas is coming. Got tickets to the hockey game sat and sounds like Rico finally got his promotion. Yeah!

Finished Angels and Demons, DaVinci Code..and now starting the Hobbit....
