This post is dedicated to my Auntie Poyche. She's been a good friend and confidant for me since my move back to Monterey Park, especially since she lives just across the street. Many times i come home and join her for dinner or she comes over to watch movies. Through it all she (as well as my other aunt and cousins near by in Montebello) reminds me of the family feelings i had growing up on this block. Well...thanks to my aunt and her powers of persuation, the furniture i ordered in the beginning of May will hopefully/finally get delievered tomorrow. The store said two weeks, but kept getting delayed. My aunt asked is she could call...and next thing you know, we have a delievery time for 12-3pm. That plus the fact she helped me put up my framed art yesterday and helped clean up some of the planters make me realize how lucky i am.
